You Are My Key by jenny

So it's been said that God made Adam
and from Adam, his own perfect mate.
Legend tells a lost rib to madam,
one gained love, and a sealed human fate.

They knew not what was to gain or lose
knew not of sin, nudity's uncouth.
They'd not felt curiosity's bruise;
She took his rib, gave him love and truth.

And so they fell, and fell together,
out from the garden's great harmony.
Held each other close through the weather,
learned how to surive earth's agony.

They and we are not so far apart,
our tales, actually, quite the same.
I was made with a piece of your heart,
the piece that you had the key to tame.

In taming, enflaming, engulfing
my being with love so true and right.
You fill me, you thrill me, completing
the real (w)me, show'ring man with God's light.

Together, our pieces burn with the
image of one unified God: Love.
