quiescent harbinger of love

it was not a word that was spoken...
more an electronic action.
it was such a small feat,
that led to so very much.
a "silent" introduction to eternities,
past and present.

enough for me to ask myself...
...."is there something i have done?
have i changed life in such a way,
as to be never forgotten?....
have i said nothing,
to anybody that heard the sirens sing,
the angels bellow low melodies,
or the god sigh with the winds of triumph?"

it was a moment i have thought of often.
such a small moment in time...
almost accidental...
one in which i will forever forget.

and so you madam rose...
you were my love's harbinger.
ever so quiet...
but crucial beyond thought...
the rest of my days will be spent...
showing you my gratitude for those few seconds
of your life...
that changed mine forever.

thank you for the introduction to my world.
i will continue to love her...
one i have never known before.

in the infinite scheme....

for they are only there to be seen,
when your eyes are closed.

i am here as a witness,
and participant....
in a living dream,

to dwarf this enormously
